What is unique about our approach to modeling and simulation?

We apply a systems approach to modeling and simulation.

A systems approach combines design of the design process flow (doing the right things at the right time), team building (how to get synergy and enthusiasm going in a group of specialists), theory and experience (why and what), and solving real world problems and issues.

Typically,

bullet

Most software providers will only train you in the manipulation of the graphical user interface (GUI) to implement various design tasks using their tool. But, they are not in the business of teaching electronics theory.

bullet

A college professor will explain electrical theory to you, but real design environments and real parts are rarely ideal.

bullet

An IC supplier will sell you parts. They may or may not provide a model, and it is of often dubious quality.

bullet

A consultant can often solve your immediate problem, but you often need to also ratchet up your organization's skills.

We help you put all these elements together into a successful whole, along with coping with the fact that your product design is often split among different specialist and locations. Plus, your project has cost, time, regulatory requirements, and other constraints.

We are passionate about providing modeling and simulation to our clients. But we realize you know your business best. Therefore, our recommendations are tailored to your needs.

Our book, Semiconductor Modeling: For Signal, Power, and Electromagnetic Integrity, further explains the systems approach to modeling and simulation.
